View the gardens on the 5K route. Tule River Parkway is home to beautiful native plant gardens that have been adopted by various organizations and individuals in our community. They are part of a program developed by the City of Porterville together with the Tule River Parkway Association, California Native Plant Society, and US Fish and Wildlife in which volunteers plant and care for demonstration concept gardens along the trail. These gardens provide improved habitat for birds, bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, while using less water. Take a guided tour from the project manager and discover more about the design concepts of the gardens and how you can get involved with the "Adopt a Garden" project!
